Rapid Clamp & Tensioner
RAPID® CLAMPS are widely used by all construction companies because they are the most efficient and reliable means for anchoring and locking formworks during concrete castings.
The RAPID® system guarantees fast set up and ultra fast removal for wooden formworks.
The rod is strongly gripped by the wedge, made of very hard tempered steel, with longitudinal grooves that carve into the iron rod to prevent it from slipping.
Locking takes place automatically and gradually as the pressure increases.
RAPID® clamps prevent formworks structural failure and guarantee always perfectly straight castings.
Firstly set up the wood or steel formworks for concrete casting, in a second time screw iron rods through the formworks at proper intervals.
PVC spacers must be placed above each of these rods. Set a RAPID® clamp to one end of the rod, hitting the wedge head with a light hammer blow.
Set a second Rapid® clamp at the opposite end, locking it in its position like the first one after stretching the bar with the special RAPID® TENSIONER.
As soon as this operation is completed, remove the tensioner and move on to the next pair of clamps. Just hit the lower part of the clamp wedge with a light hammer blow. The RAPID® clamp is immediately released and is ready to be used over and over again.
